At Zenerate, we're always working to make early-stage feasibility and design faster, smarter, and more flexible for developers, architects, and brokers. This week, we're rolling out a set of updates that give you more control, more options, and more detail when generating and editing your projects.

From the brand-new Linear Tower concept to tandem parking settings and expanded 3D building view controls, these features make it easier than ever to test complex scenarios and refine designs in real time.

Here's what's new in the Zenerate app 👇

🏢 New Quick Concept: Linear Tower

You can now generate the new Linear Tower concept card, ideal for high-density, multi-tower complexes in the Zenerate app!

How to generate Linear Tower Solutions:

1. Click on the Linear Tower concept card and set the Number of Floors, Floor Area Ratio, and Number of Units.

2. Open Tower Settings to adjust core width & depth, corridor width, and your desired unit sizes, areas, balconies, and mix.

• Tip: Uncheck Auto-calculate Net Floor Area to manually define custom net area per unit.
• (Optional) You can select your Typical Units to apply to the generation.

3. For Building Size and Parking setup, go to More Settings.

a. Under Residential Settings, input your min/max building length and minimum separation distances (back-to-back and side-to-side).

b. In the Driveway Tab, choose whether to enable driveways and stalls.

4. Click Generate and multiple Linear Tower site plans will be created!

How to edit Linear Tower Buildings:

1. Click on the Building Menu at the bottom-center of the workspace, and select Linear Tower and it will be placed onto your site.

2. Use the tools to move, rotate, and mirror buildings to create your site plan with linear towers.

3. On the right panel, adjust unit types and unit count per floor — the building size will update automatically.

4. Open the Edit Layout menu to customize unit layouts and core components.

🚗 Tandem Parking Settings

You can now manually add tandem parking to your site plan.

How to use:

1. Click on the driveway line where you want to add tandem parking stalls.
2. On the floating option bar, select the Tandem Parking menu.
3. Input the desired number of rows for tandem parking.
4. Click anywhere else to save and exit input.

👀 Building View Options Update

New controls for building components in 3D view! (Parapet, roof, underground structures)

How to use:

1. Open Building View Options in the Map Toolbar (bottom-left corner of your screen).

2. Use the checkboxes and opacity sliders to toggle building components on/off for a customized view.

🗝️ Parapet Height & Slab Thickness Input

Control parapet height and slab thickness for your buildings.

How to use:

1. Select a building and open the Typical Floor Plan Settings on the right panel.
2. You will now see new inputs for Parapet Height and Slab Thickness.
3. Uncheck Apply to All Floors if you want to customize slab thickness per floor.
4. Click Apply and switch to 3D view to see your updates reflected.
