We're excited to introduce a powerful new set of updates designed to expand what you can explore inside Zenerate. This release brings data center planning capabilities, allowing teams to test server room layouts, IT load requirements, and cooling configurations directly in the workspace. We're also introducing AI generation using your own Building Library, enabling the platform to generate layouts based on your preferred building designs instead of only predefined templates. Combined with major improvements to our generation engine—now 2×–5× faster—these updates make it easier than ever to iterate, evaluate options, and move from concept to feasibility with speed and confidence.
🖥️ Data Center Planning Available
We are introducing Data Center planning capabilities, allowing you to explore server room layouts, IT load planning, and cooling configurations directly inside the workspace.
This enables faster iteration during early feasibility and infrastructure planning.
How to use
1. In the workspace, select Data Center as the building type.

2. On the right-hand panel, input your target PUE.
3. Go to Add Room / Area → Server Room.

4. Select the Server Room and generate server room layouts.

Key capabilities
• Input IT Load requirements and view capacity outputs
• Configure Rack Setup and CRAC specifications
• Customize aisle widths and cross aisle layouts
• Instantly generate with your configurations.
Once configured, simply click Apply to generate the layout in your workspace.
You can further refine the design by directly editing:

🤖 AI Generation Using Your Building Library
AI generation can now leverage your own saved buildings.
Instead of generating only from predefined templates, you can now generate layouts using buildings stored in your Building Library, allowing AI to reflect your preferred building types and design standards.

1. Go to AI Generate
2. Select a building type
3. Open the Unit Mix & Area tab

We optimized the geometry computation engine behind layout generation.
As a result, generation and editing operations are now 2×–5× faster, allowing you to iterate through design options significantly quicker.
