With Zenerate, adding and editing vertical cores is fast, intuitive, and fully integrated into your building layout workflow.
Add Vertical Cores
To place vertical cores in your building:
1. Click Edit at the bottom of your screen,2. Select any residential level,3. Double click the building layout that you want to modify,4. Click Core at the bottom of the screen,5. Choose the core type: Elevator, Stairs, Trash Chute, or Core Area,6. Drag and drop the core into your desired location

Edit Vertical Cores
Zenerate’s drag-and-drop interface makes core edits seamless:
1. Click Edit at the bottom of your screen,2. Select any residential level,3. Double click the building layout that you want to modify,4. Click on the vertical core you want to modify:
- Drag and drop to reposition it
- Click Delete to remove it

Vertical cores can also be assigned to specific floors by selecting the desired floors from the dropdown menu in the editing bar.
