Adding Non-Residential Rooms and Area

Non-residential spaces like lobbies, laundry rooms, bike parking, and facility rooms play a crucial role in enhancing a building’s functionality. They accommodate staff and provide essential amenities for tenants, making them an integral part of any well-designed project.

In the Residential Area

Within residential floors, you can easily convert existing units into non-residential spaces by following these steps:

1. Click on a unit you would like to change.,2. Select the dropdown menu in the edit bar.,3. Choose the desired non-residential room type.

In the Parking Area

In parking areas, adding facility rooms is just as effortless:

1. Click on your parking area layout. ,2. Select “Room/ Area”.,3. Choose the type of non-residential space you want to add.,4. Drag and drop it onto the available space.

Zenerate will automatically adjust the parking layout and recalculate parking spot numbers to accommodate the new space.
